Sweet Brook Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is holding a public open house on Thursday, May 28th from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., highlighting recent upgrades to the facility at 1561 Cold Spring Road, Williamstown.

Food and refreshments will be provided by Mezze Catering.

The event will serve as a celebration of Sweet Brook’s recently completed renovations, which includes a new naturally-lit, state-of-the-art short-term rehabilitation gym. The facility is the only skilled nursing center in the region with an innovative Smart Car, perfect to provide rehab patients with practice in transferring in and out of motor vehicles in the safety and comfort of the indoor gym.

“It’s a new day at Sweet Brook and we are truly looking forward to inviting our friends in healthcare and the community as a whole to see the great work being done here,” said Administrator Alan Blier. “We believe the newly completed renovation work responds perfectly to the changing needs of residents and patients in the skilled nursing setting, particularly for post-acute rehab and recovery.”

Sweet Brook is the only facility in northern Berkshire County with a suite of private rooms for short-term rehabilitation patients, which ideally complements the top-notch rehabilitation facilities.

RSVPs are suggested, but not necessary for the open house. The public is encouraged to come out for an opportunity to see the facilities, socialize, network and meet Sweet Brook’s staff.
